While in their late teens, Blackpool's the Pose formed to do spunk covers. Chris Anderton (guitars), Tony Ashworth (drums), Chris Shea (vocals), and Paul Swindles (bass) met each other in shoal and started playacting gigs with a clutch of Buzzcocks and Clash songs in their repertoire. Within a yr, they started piece of writing their own material and distinct to variety their identify to Tunnelvision.

Later on piece of writing a few songs, Shea exited, leaving Anderton to take over on vocals. Eventually enlisting Andrew Leeming to take over on guitar, a gig with their friends, Section 25, in September of 1980 impressed Factory bigwigs Rob Gretton and Tony Wilson. Agreeing to release a single on their pronounce, the banding sic near transcription a four-song demonstration before cut their official debut freeing. (Just now after recording it, Swindles left wing for a proper caper. He was replaced by Ian Butterworth.) Infamous producer and Factory fellow Martin Hannett remixed deuce of the demo's songs, which became Tunnelvision's solitary single, Watching the Hydroplanes. As with to the highest degree post-Joy Division records issued in the early '80s by Factory, the single was barf off as beingness mediocre Joy Division.

Yet another four-song demonstration was recorded earlier Leeming departed. Drummer Ashworth ditched his tympan kit for a guitar, and the troika continued playing live dates with a drum political machine. Opting to attempt things out with some other live drummer, the band called it quits later on one rehearsal as a quartet. Former members splintered off into other ephemeral bands, including Vee VV (Anderton, Butterworth) and Cat Noise (Shea, Swindles). In 1998, Les Temps Modernes released Guessing the Way, a digest of the band's single, deuce demos, and live material.

OK! Exclusive: Charlie Sheen Weds!

It's official OK! can exclusively reveal that actor Charlie Sheen tied the knot with fiance Brooke Mueller at a private estate in Beverly Hills on Friday night.

At 7:18pm PT on May 30, the Two and a Half Men star and his longtime girlfriend became husband and wife in front of about 70 close friends and family, including Charlie's three daughters, Cassandra, 23, Sam, 4, and little Lola, who celebrates her third birthday on Sunday. His screen-legend dad Martin Sheen was there, as was his on-screen mom, actress Holland Taylor, Brookes best friend Rebecca Gayheart with her Greys Anatomy-starring hubby Eric Dane. Charlie's TV co-star Jon Cryer was unable to attend due to a commitment in Austin, Texas, but Jon's wife Lisa Joyner was there representing them both.

The couple wrote their own vows and had no bridesmaids or groomsmen for the intimate, nondemoninational ceremony, which was presided over by an ordained minister pal of the actor.

Brooke looked beautiful in a white Reem Acra gown while Charlie wore a simple black Pronto Uomo suit from the Mens Wearhouse with a gray-and-black striped tie and a white Prada shirt.

Just hours before the wedding, twice-wed Charlie told OK! that Brooke is his true soul mate. We love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together, he said.

As for his ex-wife Denise Richards, who has had some unpleasant things to say about their divorce as she's made the talk show circuit in recent weeks, the 42-year-old actor confessed to OK! he has vowed never to speak his ex's name in public again.

I think its no accident or coincidence that whatsherface chose this time to do what she did in the media against us leading up to this wonderful day," Charlie told OK! about the conspicuous timing of her media tour. "Its pretty obvious that Brooke and I through our actions and union were moving on with our lives, and perhaps somebody else should consider the same."
